Creating the future one idea at a time
At TEDxGlasgow we’ve delved into issues such as the climate crisis, global inequality, health care and the new economy. We’ve sparked national debates such as restructuring the Care system, boosting business and start-ups, rallied volunteers for humanitarian causes, and influenced government policy as evidenced in our impact case stories.
Through our platform, we’re reaching more people than ever both in person and digitally. Our community is active, and we’ve grown our social and economic impact with each event. Our ongoing success is only possible thanks to our dedicated community of volunteers, speakers, partners, and participants, who share our ambition to create a more innovative and progressive Scotland.
We're passionate about a world that is equal, healthy and sustainable. Positive Impact is behind everything we do.
As we proceed, much of our work overlaps with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, looking into the future economy, climate change, inequalities and more.
Make or Break Impact
When we come together, the collective impact of TEDxGlasgow is tangible in our home city, across Scotland, and around the globe.

Earlier this year I had a live discussion with Sheila Morovati from Habits of Waste, all about being more plant based. And to be honest, as a meat lover I thought, this isn’t for me, but Sheila reassured me that it doesn’t have to be all or nothing when eating less meat. So I attempted the #8Meals challenge and here’s my journey…
