Sayo is seconded to the Champions team from her role as a Partner at Leaders' Quest (LQ) an organisation that helps leaders and companies align profit with purpose – to deliver a future where everybody can thrive within the means of the planet. At LQ, she worked on various systems change initiatives. She played a key role in the BankingFutures initiative, which brought together leaders from some of the UK’s largest banks and institutional investors, and other financial and civil society experts, to create a road map to a healthier banking system. She has also developed initiatives that were focused on addressing imbalances in the food system.

Sayo is passionate about strengthening the links between business and society, and cares deeply about sustainability and equality. In addition to her role at LQ, she sits on the advisory board of Greenwood Place, a company that delivers strategic advice and execution for a community of entrepreneurial philanthropists.

She is also on the advisory board of Drivers for Change, which inspires young leaders to lead positive change in their neighbourhoods. She previously ran Cooking with Mama, a social enterprise that trained migrant women to lead cookery classes for the local community. Sayo has a Masters from the London School of Economics (where she was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar) and started her career in the legal field. Having lived and worked on five continents, she considers herself a global citizen, and her experiences have fostered a love of international affairs, languages, and travel. In her spare time, she’s an avid reader, loves movies, music and podcasts, and enjoys relaxing by running – especially on London’s Thames path.
