To ensure the greatest impact of the our events, the TEDx Glasgow team have made the strategic decision to cancel the TEDxGlasgow Women event scheduled for December 2012. Our next event has been scheduled for March 2013.
Such has been the level of interest in the event that the production team wish to ensure as many partners and participants as possible are given the opportunity to get involved and be part of the TEDx revolution in Scotland.
The team wish to thank all the sponsors for their on-going support and look forward delivering a world class event early next year

Dear Ted team
I work with an inspiring speaker – a lady called Christine McGrory. Christine, a native Glaswegian addressed this year’s International Women’s Day Conference and was immediately booked to do their address next year also. Many of her Key philosophies echo exactly the descriptor above…inspirational stories, curiosity and making space to create are all central themes. She is currently authoring a book which will be published before the year end.
Can you tell me the process for getting Christine to be considered as a future Ted speaker? She is holding a free 2 hour evening course on Wed 5th September in Glasgow…would any-one from Ted be interested in attending to evaluate her speaking credentials?
I have been on Christine’s course and it is amazing. She also has the backing and support of a number of very senior key people in the business corporate world , some of whom operate at the very highest level.
